Nina's Eatery & Wine Bar

Nina's Café was the first Café in Whitianga, so we have been.

serving tea, coffee, and good food for over 30 years!!!!

Over 125 years old cottage, Our Café was a home to Mr. and Mrs. Hamlin and is a New Zealand listed Heritage building.

You can feel the history of Pioneering New Zealander's when you see the wooden floorboards, stain glass windows and the hanging clothes drying frame above the open brick fireplace.

We are passionate about "fresh" and "healthy". We make everything from scratch with fresh ingredients from Juices, Smoothies, Salads, Pizzas, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

We specialize in Italian and Indian dishes but our Menu does cater for all tastes.

We are lucky that we have different areas for people to relax and enjoy their time with us. On entry through the front door, you can sit in a cosy, warm lounge with a choice of table and chairs or a sofa. You can exit or enter through the French doors and sit at tables Al fresco to enjoy the sun or be shaded under the front Verandah.

We have a side room decorated with native plants and greenery, perfect for small groups and at night this is our Wine Bar.

We are licensed for Beer and Wine and have both local and International wines, including a special range of  Organic Spanish wine.  

Dogs are welcome outside; we provide drinking water dishes for them.

We know we all work hard and need a reward at the end of the day so we would like to introduce our Happy Hour.

Wednesday to Saturday from 5 -6pm we will offer a discounted price on our Craft Tap Beer and House wines.

A perfect time to meet up with your mates, friends, partners, and family.
